Produced by Greg Berlanti and Ava DuVernay, the event series based on creator’s Caitlin Parrish play A Twist of Water, looks at the impact of the shooting death of an innocent African-American doctor by a white police officer on three families connected to the case: the police officer’s (Noel Fisher), the victim’s husband (Noah Wyle) and child (Aliyah Royale) and the politician’s (Emayatzy Corinealdi).
