The parents of 12-year-old Oscar (Anthony Gonzalez) decide he must leave Honduras after being targeted by a local gang. His journey to locate his uncle in Arizona is thwarted when he is captured by Border Patrol and put in “the icebox,” the processing center for children in this film based on Daniel Sawka’s short film.
