AMC Theatres Plans to Fully Reopen in July, After Reporting $2.2 Billion COVID-19 Loss

Although the 2020 fiscal year started strongly with earnings up nearly 10 percent compared to 2019, the theater chain’s revenue plunged after coronavirus-related social distancing guidelines forced all theaters to close on March 17.
