Bryan Fuller’s cult hit series Hannibal is a spectacular take on the world of Hannibal Lecter—and it’s leaving Netflix next week. “Hannibal follows behavioral psychologist Will Graham (Dancy), who’s brought in by the FBI to assist with tracking down serial killers. To keep his fragile psyche in check, he’s assigned to regular sessions with Dr. Lecter (Mikkelsen), a forensic psychologist. Any self-respecting movie buff knows Lecter better as Hannibal the Cannibal, but Will is none the wiser as he endeavors to track down another killer, called the Chesapeake Ripper.” Read more at Inverse. How Zack Snyder’s Justice League Leaves the Door Open to Restore the Snyder Verse

This article contains Zack Snyder’s Justice League spoilers. Let it be said that to the very end, Zack Snyder did it his way. In an era where superhero entertainment, and all other branded media, is shaped by what conference rooms think fans want, Snyder somehow pushed through a transgressive view of DC icons like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman that was brooding, unsettling… and memorable. Fans certainly haven’t forgotten Snyder’s self-described “deconstructionist” Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice or that it was meant to carry onward into Justice League. What the Mank Ending Leaves Out About Orson Welles and Citizen Kane

This article contains Mank spoilers. You can read our review here. It’s like the climax of a Western. Two men stare across from each other in a showdown of ego and calculation. Resident Evil Village Trailer Leaves Us With More Questions Than Answers

Resident Evil fans rejoice, as the recent PlayStation 5 showcase brought us an incredible new trailer for Resident Evil Village. While this shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise to series fans, the latest Resident Evil trailer is, to put a word to it, cryptic. It still doesn’t feature anything that we’re convinced counts as gameplay, and most of it actually focuses on an animated sequence that feels stylistically similar to the one that the Harry Potter films used to tell the tale of the Deathly Hallows. It also sends off big Don’t Starve energy so far as the…

WarnerMedia laid off hundreds of workers on Monday, and one of the hardest hit divisions was DC Comics, the intellectual property foundation that much of the company’s other success was based on. Doyle oversaw the successful rollout of DC’s Black Label publishing initiative, and Chase headed up DC’s extremely successful young adult graphic novel line, in case you…
