Minecraft Movie Release Date Delayed Indefinitely by Warner Bros.

Production of the Minecraft movie has encountered another setback as Warner Bros. delays nearly all of their major upcoming productions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As The Hollywood Reporter notes, the Minecraft movie was recently scheduled to be released on March 4, 2022. Now, though, Warner Bros. confirms that the movie’s release has been pushed back from that date and that no updated release date for the project is available at this time. Disney Delays Mulan Indefinitely, Avatar Sequels Pushed Back

Disney has reconfigured its theatrical release schedule again as the coronavirus pandemic continues to rage throughout the country, with the company yanking or delaying some films while leaving others in place — at least for now. The first, not totally unexpected move was pulling Mulan off its August 21 release date.
