Hitman 3’s Death in the Family mission can be completed in a number of amusing ways, but the undisputed highlight of this assignment is the ability to pose as a private investigator and attempt to solve the murder of Zachary Carlisle. Much like the missions Agent 47 regularly undertakes, Hitman 3 is, in many ways, the most refined execution of IO Interactive’s stealth sandbox formula yet. The kill opportunities have never been more plentiful, the locations you execute them in no more engaging, yet even this can’t distract from the underlying sense of “been there, done that” present in this final chapter into the so-called World of Assassination trilogy. Leave it to Nintendo to use a previously unannounced Nintendo Direct presentation to reveal that Control and Hitman 3 are coming to Nintendo Switch via a cloud streaming service. Hitman 3 developer IO Interactive announced that they will be altering and removing some of the franchise’s modes for the upcoming third installment in the rebooted series. “When HITMAN 3 launches in January 2021, players will experience the dramatic conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy,” reads a post on the IO blog. “Today, we are are happy to confirm that HITMAN 3 will feature multiple game modes, including the return of Elusive Targets, Contracts Mode, and more.” Let’s start with Elusive Targets. Whilst sitting around with the Xmarx and VIZOO crew on a Sunday afternoon we decided to throw on a movie. We had a few choses, though ended up going with the new Keanu Reeves movie - John Wick.
