It’s a Sin’s Doctor Who Crossover Pays Tribute to Remembrance of the Daleks Actor

Warning: Contains spoilers for It’s a Sin episode 4 All five episodes of Russell T Davies’ blistering 1980s-set AIDS drama It’s a Sin are a tribute to the lives of gay men lost to the virus, but one scene in particular was written in specific recognition of an individual. Speaking to Doctor Who Magazine, Davies describes a moment in episode four as “a little smile” towards actor Dursley McLinden. “I was really desperate to do it,” said Davies. “I did it for Dursley.” The scene features series lead Olly Alexander as actor Ritchie Tozer, who’s playing a part in a…

Doctor Who: John Barrowman to Return in Revolution of the Daleks

Captain Jack’s last Doctor Who appearance was a surprise series 12 cameo in ‘The Fugitive of the Judoon’ (not the biggest surprise that episode had in store, it turned out…). He showed up, kissed Graham on the lips, alluded to the Doctor and her companions having an orgy, and issued a life-or-death warning. All regular Captain Jack stuff. He also said that he’d be seeing the Doctor again. “Maybe not soon, but when she needs me. I’ll be there.” He wasn’t lying. The BBC has confirmed that Jack will be making good on his promise with a guest role in…

Doctor Who Special: Revolution of the Daleks First-Look Pictures

Series 13 may be a long way off yet (the BBC is still hopeful for a late 2021 air date, and hoping for filming to take place before the end of 2020, Covid-19 chaos notwithstanding), but it’s not long until Doctor Who will be back on our screens. As teased at the very end of the series 12 finale, “The Timeless Children,” the next episode will be one-off special “Revolution of the Daleks”, which is due to air over the upcoming festive period.  Released as part of this year’s online New York Comic-Con panel, see below for a couple of first-look images…
