December 2020 marks 30 years since the release of Home Alone – three decades since Moira from Schitt’s Creek and the crooked cop from The Sopranos forget to take Roman from Succession’s brother to France, so he set fire to Tommy from Goodfellas. If that news has you spiralling into a pit of what-have-I-done-with-my-life despair, you’ll be in need of some distraction.
Here’s a bit of that, with a list of the new additions to Disney + UK this December. On Christmas Day, there’s Pixar’s Soul to look forward to, but before that is the free-to-subscribers debut of the live-action Mulan, plus the ongoing weekly episodes of The Mandalorian and Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD season seven.
