In 1992, two Korean-American brothers and director running a shoe shop in South Central Los Angeles proportion a friendship with an eleven-year-antique black woman who likes hanging out with them. As information of the verdict inside the beating case filters down during the day, their livelihood is upended when riots get away and the whole lot they’ve built in the network is threatened via violence and looting.
